Cut off the wings. I will pose them in folded position and will scratch the wingroot detail and ribs.

That is a photo etched RB production that indeed was too short. It did not end up this way in the finished model. -

Continued work on the Argus engine. Lots of detail missing here. Not strange considering you dont have the option from the kit to pose the panels open. Adding the missing detail now.
-
Replaced the closed plastic grille with a PE one, making the engine area visible. So i scratched the radiator and part of the forward engine.

Some more work on the pit. Quite happy with the eduard ones’. Love the way they attach to the back of the seat.

Restored the seats and working with eduard seatbelts now. The Quinta decals work fine on the side walls.
-
They disintegrated. Kept breaking up at the curves. Even without touching them. Lovely work on your pit by the way!

Started work on the Quinta seatbelts. Fragile buggers, but they do the job. Should look fine under some matt coat and washes.
-
This is very true. I’ll use some micro clear. Thnx

The thing is: i like the glossy bulged glass on the Eduard PE panels. The difference in gloss and mattish finish. But i prefer the detail and smoother print on the Quinta one. I have three panels to choose from so we’ll see. Might go Quinta.
