  1. Just checked. Only looks that way. Thank god! More work on the base. Weathering and ordered a engraved data plate to go on the base.
  2. Started painting the base. Authentic instruments fitted.
  3. Geez louise! What a beast and whAt craftsmanship …
  4. Managed to fix the problem. Reinstalled the engine. Also fixed the angle of the mg131’s. For some reason the Eduard brassin set lets them aim to far upwards.
  5. Some setback. This morning i checked last night’s progress and i noticed the engine is crooked. Needs to be alligned. This evening I’ll see if this is an easy fix…
  6. More fitting. Needed to really thin a few panels to fit over the engine. Almost there. Then on to the guns.
  7. Test fitting of the engine. Matt coat is on. Started with chipping and AK pencils.
  8. Flat coat is on. This is where the fun begins.
  9. Good luck Peter! it cost me a few grey hairs. in the meantime i made this frame and background for my Luftwaffe ammo.

  15. The last of the stencils have been masked and sprayed. Waiting for the yellow 6 and jg1 u it badge mask.
  16. It’s a button that turns the power on and off. The fake 3d printed one is the one i’m holding. The real one is now in the base. Ready to paint the aluminium base in RLM66.
  17. I also managed to buy a new Netschalter. The one i wanted to use on the base is a 3D printed copy
  18. I use AK more work done. Small red stencils sprayed.
  19. Drew up the JG1 unit badge for the left side of the engine cover and the mask for the yellow 6. Mal Mayfield Is cutting the masks for me. As always.
