I spent last night roaming the internet and my books. Indeed. My guess is that the scheme is exactly like this one. No checkered or striped nose. Red band. Yellow 6. Perhaps with black outline. And maybe a white twirl on the spinner.

Cees... has done it again. Screw up all my plans and distract me with a new months long project. Operation Bodenplatte. January 1, 1945. Hans-Jürgen Kilian of 3/JG1 crashed near the small village Vreeland (very close to my house). Information on Kilian and his plane are scarce but slowly I’m getting an idea of hoe his yellow 6 fw190a8 plane looked. I have a shitload of AM ready for this build. Cees gave me a piece of the aileron. Yes! Here we go!

Aaaalmost there. Heads are aded to the figures. The AK oils worked great on the faces.

Very nice. Interesting sequence in building and painting, but at least you get to spray some colour before building the entire bugger!

Thnx! Did some more work on the Jeep. Only need to paint the heads on the GI’s. Recieved the full flesh AK oil set so might give them a twirl this weekend.

Really wanting to finish this one but there are so many details left to tackle...

They are better finished. And they don’t feel like white metal. It’s tougher and feel like normal metal. Friul sometimes needs the holes openend and you have to cut your own pins, but these are all a perfect fit. Amazing stuff.

From what I know is that they wont be supplying resellers anymore and instead will only sell directly to end users. Like Wnw did. Master Club tracks are a great alternative and this weird brand.

It feels like forever since i’ve built a full armour model! Starting with the tracks. I’ve assembled many friul tracks back in the day, but this chinese brand is something else!!

Working on the underside. Added some extra detail to the ladder, bomb doors, etc.

These are included in the Eduard exterior set. If you choose to pose the panels in open position these are a must have. I also have seperate photo etch sets for my models but i believe they are out of production. From PK Tinyland.

Thnx guys. Working on some details now. Making the latches. Will paint them next but didnt want to add them earlier on to avoid damaging them.
