  1. Hi Troy, i used the Quinta pre coloured decals with relief
  2. Prepping the hull. Will open the luggage compartment. Also opened the ends of the exhausts with my new usb charged hand grinder.
  3. Great work! You make it look like a wnw kit and then some.
  4. I had a swedish 6.5 mauser once. Most beautiful mauser imho. But this one looks the part too. i now shoot and own a lee enfield, l1a1, m1 carbine, p38 and browning hp.
  5. Lovely work so far. Enjoying your teaking and updating.
  6. Only a few more washes and the pit is done
  7. Some more work on the pit. Quite happy with the eduard ones’. Love the way they attach to the back of the seat.
  8. Getting happier with the pit
  9. Restored the seats and working with eduard seatbelts now. The Quinta decals work fine on the side walls.
  10. They disintegrated. Kept breaking up at the curves. Even without touching them. Lovely work on your pit by the way!
  11. One step forward. Two steps back. Quinta seatbelts? A no for me.
  12. Started work on the Quinta seatbelts. Fragile buggers, but they do the job. Should look fine under some matt coat and washes.
  13. This is very true. I’ll use some micro clear. Thnx
  14. The thing is: i like the glossy bulged glass on the Eduard PE panels. The difference in gloss and mattish finish. But i prefer the detail and smoother print on the Quinta one. I have three panels to choose from so we’ll see. Might go Quinta.
  15. Wondering what belts to use. Not too happy with either of them. Same goes for the panel.
  16. Here is the original autograph from Wendelin Trenkle. The first test pilot to fly the first bf108
  17. Bit of a shitty start. Two rudder pedals have photo etch upper parts. I lost one and i don’t even hve a carpet. Searched two days. Nothing. Now made two new parts from leftover PE.
  18. Hete we go again The 1/32 Eduard Bf108 with all the goodies i could find. Also got the Mushroom publications book. Mostly for the rivet drawings. Also found a an autograph of Wendelin Trenkle. The Messerschmit testoikot that first flew a Bf108
  19. Thanks Peter! Here’s an idea:
  20. And she’s done. Maybe a few touchups here and there. Then some proper pics. Thanks to Cees Broere for the aileron relic from this specific plane!!
  21. Final bits. working on the antenna wire. Made the spring from thin lead wire. The conductors from stretched cotton buds.
  22. And adding the PE flaps…
  23. Finish line in sight. More latches. The emblem is aurbrushed with Mal’s Miracle Masks.
  24. A quick shot with 95% of the work done. Already pondering over the next project.
  25. Underside cowling panels done. Working on the rest. My Junghans J30 cockpit clock is keeping time.
