    I messed up the Eduard Revi gunsight. Went to the Aviation Megastore today and bought the Metallic Details Revi set. 4 3d printed gunsights with pre cut glass.

    Some love it. Some hate it. I only use it when i think the camo or scheme needs it. Almost ready for upper camo (rlm74 and 75)

    Exactly. I first gave them the same treatment. Not liking the monotone look i cleaned them and resprayed them with a lighter basecoat.

    Aahh nasty. On mine the thread on the nozzle cap (that holds the needle) gave. I couldnt tighten it anymore. A new thread maker had to be ordered from japan. It has been a year now! Shop says the tool arrived last week so repair should not take more than another week. I hope…

    First washes and bathing the mg131 barrels in blackening agent.

    I used mr hobby rlm02 over tamiya matt black. Added some off white and yellow to brighten up the RLM02 in the highlights

    Thnx guys! Good to be back! painting the gunbay area and dryfitting the mg131’s. I might replace the resin barrels form Master’s metal barrels.

    Moved house and finally have my bench set up! Managed to restart this project. Rivets are done.

    Had an alu box made with holes for the instruments. Corners need to be smoothened. And the base will be sprayed rlm66.

    So.. the HGW rivets were a disaster. Followed the instructions. Even got the right Mr Mark softener, but about 20% of the rivets stayed on the carrier film. Ah well! Back to old school riveting.
