  1. More work done today! On to the cockpit. took off half of the control stick (as is the case in the NASM one) , replaced it with metal tube and drilling out instruments. Not all the ones’ that are missing in the real thing, but enough to make it look interesting:
  2. Got some more stuff for this build today. Flattened tyres and seatbelts. The NASM machine does not have seatbelts installed but this is where my artistic liberty kicks in
  3. Some progress. Base colours on the frame.
  4. Lovely result. I believe this is the first finished example I've seen. Great work and thnx for sharing!
  5. I will attach the wings, but i will pose the mk103 guns seperately on a metal stand.
  6. Yes i do. And i have all the ‘needed’ AM. Will post a few pics later.
  7. Pffff! This model was done by Sampson Yu ;)
  8. Well it’s not rust. All plywood that has started to come apart and showing its layers. I have some plans for that...
  9. Time to to start a new project. This kit has been in my stash a while. Waiting for me to gather the courage. I will be building it in it’s current state: under restoration. Ofcourse with a few creative liberties. It has been excellently done before: The above is my aim and i’ll be happy with half the result. This is where i’m at:
  10. It was too small. 4mm. Should have been 5mm. Can’t get over it so i’m having it re-printed...
  11. How did i miss this??? incredible craftmanship! really enjoying this..
  12. Recieved the nameplate today and added the v2 aluminium to the rear. Getting there!
  13. Really cool subject!!! Are those rubber tyres? I believe this is a fairly old Tamiya kit, but I remember the fit and detail is pretty good.
  14. Thnx guys! Thats useful info once my balls are 3d printed! Started adding depth and scratches woth pencils.
  15. Weather my balls? Well ofcourse!
  16. Hi Wumm! Great idea! Just drew up a ww2 era leather soccer ball and sent it out for 3D printing.
  17. Used panel line was all over and sealed it all in wirh a flat coat. I used different shades if green to show these rockets were often transported in sections on trains and then trucks. They were hidden in the woods and assembled in the field. Started using variaous shades of pencils for highlights and light chipping. also ordered a nameplate to show tge location this V2 was discovered by the young boy.
  18. Change of plans! The Mig colours were waaaay of... so i turned to a late war scheme as they would have been fired from the Netherlands. All green. It’s going to be a challenge to make this look interesting but it’s getting there...
