Hello,

here are pictures of my Wingnut Wings Pfalz D.IIIa of Jasta 37

It's early November 1918, -- this aircraft has its best time behind itself.

Run down, dirty and tattered it does now service in a Jasta school.

The original images are from the WNW webside

Simply Won-Da-Ful, Bertl! My all time favourite so far!

Remembers me that I should get me one WnW Pfalz DIIIa for Xmas - well, if WnW should NOT bring on a Roland CII, that is ...

I am new to this forum but when this build was brought to my attention I felt I had to respond. Even though the International Modelling Committee (IMC) banned the use of inter-galactic shrink rays in the early 90's it's plain to see from this posting that Bertl has employed the use of one of these devices. Does he really think we wouldn't know?

Thank you so much for the flowers, friends!

@dino.flyer

Your wrong! B)

According to Geneva Convention shrink rays are no longer prohibited. Except for commercial purposes.
<_< But believe me, these shrink rays are not working. I've tried it on our German Chancellor ...................... no success. Quite the opposite has occurred.

Here are some "Pfalz in progress" pictures:

Thank you Martin and Jamme ;)

Here is my attempt to present the rudder with its various layers of paint and dirt.
Close to the original as possible was my target for myself:

Bertl - amazing! Your eye for detail and your application leaves me breathless in awe!

Some of the best modelling I've ever seen and something for me to aim at!

Very well done!

One may wonder where Germans get their reputation for precision engineering... brauche ich mehr zu sagen? Sehr schone, Bertl.

Umlaufmotor, I've been following your builds for some years now...on other forums and I'm so pleased I've found you here.

Your work is easily among the best I've seen anywhere. It's an inspiration for me and I'm grateful to see your pictures.

Congratulations on some stunningly beautiful work.

Thank you.
