I painted the engine and the cockpit. Remained to tinker with the starboard side and you can close the fuselage.

Assembled the glider. Puttying, sanding, everything came together quite well. Requires, of course, attention and care in this process that would not knock the details of the surface. I would like to note that the plastic is pleasant to work with

Looking great Sasha. Love the profile on that final picture with the smooth curve from the tips of the tail to the main wing root.

The most "erotic" part of the I-16 is the design of the landing gear. I think it's blasphemy not to work on this part. I did a little bit of work in this regard. I painted engine hood. Finished the surface of the glider a little. Looked more lively in my opinion. The engine shutters are movable, you can see all the beauty of the inner world of the hood. )))))
