DocRob Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Quite an interesting beast Mark. I like those working vehicles, where function rules clearly over design. Cheers Rob 2

Mark We use those in the civilian world, too, but they are called ARFF trucks (Airborne Rescue & Fire Fighting). In fact, a lot of civilian ones are surplus military. We don't get to call our stuff "tactical" because no one is shooting at us...usually.😁 5

Peterpools Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Mark Absolutely the best way to avoid frustration when a situation isn't going well on the Viggen, just put it aside and think things through with a fresh mind and perspective. Nice choice for your fill in/alternate build - will be following all the way. 1
mark31 Posted September 9, 2022 Author Posted September 9, 2022 Thank you all And yes Peter Putting her aside for a bit. Its not a easy kit but just now before the finish it go wrong. Peterpools Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Mark You're speeding through the HEMTT M1147 and it's looking so good. What was the holdup point on the Viggen?

What was the holdup point on the Viggen? Problem with the fit off a few parts. A decal screw up. Canopy foggy.... But wil get over it just a set back But after the weekend back on the bench almost there on the line. Small details to go. Mark 1
Peterpools Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Thanks Mark for the update and a breather is the best way to take a fresh look at what needs to be done and then when you're ready, back to the build issues. Those limited run and resin kits - just have a mind of their own.
Peterpools Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Mark Some mighty nice work: chassis and axels assembly look perfect.
mark31 Posted September 23, 2022 Author Posted September 23, 2022 found some time for building More parts ready for the paint paint on time for placement next up driverscabin Mark 5
Peterpools Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Mark Nice steady work. The chassis, and all the components look perfectly done.
