Woodshedwings
Would have liked to, but the extortionate shipping rates to Canada cancel out any potential savings.
DougN
Oh yes... I picked up 15 new 1/32 kits (as well as a few other goodies) in total Doug
Matt_
Wrong side of the 'pond' shipping and HM Customs makes it pointless. Though some of the terminology that I've seen coming from the US is reaching our shores (Black Friday, Cyber Monday/Week - whatever they actually mean) the reductions are massively underwhelming on the whole.... I'm not sure that Hannants even bother.? Matt
Matt_
Thanks Matt Interesting stuff.... now maybe next year Hannants will have a 50% off sale, but I won't hold my breath..... Matt

DougN
Since I have over 200 1/32 aircraft kits, I can wait a bit to get the newest kits So, what I usually do is add things to my wish list on the squadron site throughout the year, and then wait for the BF 50% off sale and load them into my cart and make my purchase. While a few things don't make it (are out of stock), I usually manage to get 90% of what I am after during the sale. Of course, there are some kits/lines that squadron don't carry, and those I order as the opportunity arises so I don't have to go a whole year without some new kits to check out Doug

Not sure UK stores know the meaning of the word 'sale', certainly not in any meaningful sense In my experience "25% off" when the original price is like on and half times what I can get it for from the Far East is known as 'taking the p*ss' Still, well done to all you guys Stateside for your purchases - very jealous! Maybe I can purchase vicariously??

For Tamiya and Hasegawa it's still usually cheaper for for me to buy them here in Japan.
