Tamiya 2023 - new kits ?

With the Toy Fair now under way, except for RC cars and trucks and more cars and trucks, I can't find any show reports at all. Has anyone found

some accurate news on new releases? 🤞

The only new aircraft release I saw for Tamiya is a 1/72 F-35A. Other than that, there's some new car kits, several re-released and the aforementioned RC cars.

So strange that Tamiya isn't planning on any new aircraft releases in 48th scale and of course none in 32nd scale this year. I'm hoping it's one of the years where they are just holding back the actual announcement.  🤞

Ironically a number of retailers over here have received new stocks of Tamiya’s ancient 1/48 Lancasters in all variants. …….one thing did make me laugh, the new 2023 Tamiya catalog is yours for £16.99 over $20……..I think I’ll pass…..

Same as Airfix's marketing department ... certainly those who set the pricing .

Those ideas are probably from recent MBA graduates they hired.  They just don’t get how cheap us old farts are! Especially when it’s online a click away.
