Administrators James H Posted March 9, 2014 Administrators Share Posted March 9, 2014 Something's wrong here. You're working far faster than normal. SLOW DOWN! I know what a great kit this is, and you're doing it more than enough justice.
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 10, 2014 Author Administrators Share Posted March 10, 2014 Well, it's not just me. Doug Craner is working on my build too! Here' a shot of his handy work. Nice and dark. Best color for a Garuda prop.

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 16, 2014 Author Administrators Share Posted March 16, 2014 Thnx Bertl! I really want this to be a speedy build. So I didn't add the HGW photo-etch to the pit. Just added EZ lines, Bob's buckles and the HGW seat belts. To match the worn outside of this plane, the pit needs heavy weathering too. Almost ready to close up the fuse.

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 30, 2014 Author Administrators Share Posted March 30, 2014 And here's the wooden prop. I sanded it down completely. (Sorry Doug!). Sprayed very thinned wood lacquer. Sprayed gloss coat. Added decals. Painted gloss with wide brush and polished. The prop boss is my 3D printed one. Only needs a dark wash. Administrators James H Posted April 6, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 6, 2014 I seriously have to use that green on my next Eindecker. Lovely looking job. It's a pity you don't see much of the pit when the cowls are in place.
