BlrwestSiR Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 This is a side build while I wait for assemblies to dry on the Sheridan. It'll be OOb to make things easier. I hope. Looks like I know where the Dragon DS styrene has been hiding... One nice thing is the rubber tires are separate from the rims. Makes painting much easier. Like so: 8

Peterpools Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Carl Nice choice for a 'side build' and you're absolutely on an armor roll. Looking mighty good 2 1
PanzerWomble Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Is that an M60 under all the ERA ? Go for it Carl - this GB is certainly bringing out the interesting subjects 😀 3 1

BlrwestSiR Posted October 1, 2024 Author Posted October 1, 2024 Suspension is now complete. Meng has given the kit working torsion springs. I'm not too sure about them as the suspension arms don't seem to sit level. Worse case, I just glue the arms in place. 9
DocRob Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 You seem to be a bit on a roll with tank suspensions lately, Carl. Looking good and seems to be a nicely detailed kit. Cheers Rob 3 1
Peterpools Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Carl Right with Rob - amazing progress and you absolutely are on an armor roll. Looking mighty good. 1
KevinM Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 You moving right along there Carl looking good. 1 1

The polycaps that hold the road wheels on aren't in the box. Didn't even know it had any so they must have gotten missed. I'll have to come up with something. Otherwise the fit is too sloppy to be any good. 4
KevinM Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Go to your local parts house buy some 7/64 vacuum line and slice and dice. 2 2
Peterpools Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Carl Oh no, it's always something ... glad Kev has a fix. 1

Had a polycap crisis with my Churchill build....still have no idea where they Went...Anyway emailed Tamiya and got them free in a few days....hope you find some. I wouldn't want your build sidelined. 2
BlrwestSiR Posted October 10, 2024 Author Posted October 10, 2024 I probably have some spares somewhere. The big problem is the box where I keep all my spare/leftover armour kit pieces is completely buried by other stuff and not accessible. The basement is partway through yet another reorganization so until that's done, I can't get to it. 2
Peterpools Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Carl Holy smokes, always something to deal with.
