GusMac Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Did this as a quick change of pace after the Viggen. Never done anything like this before but it's been a fun build with a few new things tried. Kit goes together very well although the orange coloured plastic is very brittle. Majority of the weathering has been done with chalks. I quite like the effect but if I was doing it again I'd mix colours more, this feels a little monochrome. 5

DocRob Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Love it Gus, You made the plastic look like real metal, almost feeling the weight of it. Weathering is spot on. Cheers Rob 2 1
HubertB Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Looking great Gus. And the pic setting is totally adequate for the excavator. You really get an « in the works » feeling 😂 Hbert 2 1
GusMac Posted October 21, 2024 Author Posted October 21, 2024 Thanks all, it was fun to do something so different for a change. Ha ha Hubert, I think it's just a reminder that it's time I bought a new cutting mat. 😁 2
