Martinnfb Posted Wednesday at 07:53 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 07:53 PM This is one those departures that are hard to believe. Ozzy has become a household item, like the Queen Elizabeth for instance. Well , his music will last forever . Thank you Ozzy. 1
PanzerWomble Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM Tis sad ...realised recently it is nearly 10 years since Lemmy departed. he came to my home town in the mid 80s after Sabbath . The local council and newsrag whined about his bat biting and lasers and refused to liscence the gig . Sadly he never came back . 2

HubertB Posted Wednesday at 08:10 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:10 PM Old memories for sure. I was also a teenager in the 70s (born in 59), and was listening to Black Sabbath LPs on the hi-fi set I had bought with the money I earned with my summer jobs … Hubert 2
GusMac Posted Wednesday at 08:16 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:16 PM Another chunk of my childhood gone. As PW says there will be one helluva party somewhere with Oz and Lemmy reunited. Always liked the fact he was, and remained, a proud Brummie and didn't try to pretend he was something he wasn't like Joe Strummer or Damon Albarn. 1
