This is one those departures that are hard to believe. Ozzy has become a household item, like the Queen Elizabeth for instance. Well , his music will last forever . Thank you Ozzy.

Tis sad ...realised recently it is nearly 10 years since Lemmy departed. 

he came to my home town in the mid 80s after Sabbath . The local council and newsrag whined about his bat biting and lasers and refused to liscence the gig . Sadly he never came back .

I sorry I saw him in concert like in 1976 Black Sabbath then I think with Mahogany Rush in Mobile.I went to see MR not BS who was ok never was a big fan of Ozzy.:unsure:

Had to be later I was 15 in 76 I was about 17 so 78 maybe MR rock-n- rolled.

Old memories for sure. I was also a teenager in the 70s (born in 59), and was listening to Black Sabbath LPs on the hi-fi set I had bought with the money I earned with my summer jobs …

Another chunk of my childhood gone. As PW says there will be one helluva party somewhere with Oz and Lemmy reunited.

Always liked the fact he was, and remained, a proud Brummie and didn't try to pretend he was something he wasn't like Joe Strummer or Damon Albarn.
