Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 8, 2025 Administrators Posted August 8, 2025 Another side project. Got this revi16 crash relic with missing half of it’s body. Drew these parts in 3D and printed them. 8 1

Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 11, 2025 Author Administrators Posted August 11, 2025 I have some technical drawings and drew a 3d model of the top lense. Printed it in transparent resin and it fits like a glove. Now to polish it and treat it with a heat gun to make it crystal clear. 6 1
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 12, 2025 Author Administrators Posted August 12, 2025 Printed the transparent glass too. Now for a lot of polishing and after care to get it properly transparent IMG_2800.mov 4
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 13, 2025 Author Administrators Posted August 13, 2025 Assembling and sanding the box. Made a hinge from copper rod. 5
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 15, 2025 Author Administrators Posted August 15, 2025 Figured life is too short for polishing and had the clear glass lasered from acrylic transparent plastic. Only need to sand the edge in an angle. 6
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 18, 2025 Author Administrators Posted August 18, 2025 First paint 7
GusMac Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 Wow, that looks brilliant Jeroen. If I didn't know, I don't think I'd be able to tell that wasn't 100% original.
BlrwestSiR Posted August 19, 2025 Posted August 19, 2025 Unreal. Can't tell the resin from the real.parts. So, I guess this mean you're going to start 3D printing a 1/1 cockpit now? 2
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted September 22, 2025 Author Administrators Posted September 22, 2025 Done. Bought a 5cm diameter lense to fit snuggly in the gunsight. Ready for the cabinet. 3
GusMac Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 Looks great. Something different for the display case. 1
