I finished this one just before we lost the original SPAR forums so I figured I'd post it here. 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G-14, MDC Cockpit, Eagle Editions spinner, G-Factor landing gear, Master Details Bf 109G Upgrade Set, Sky Decals, paint is Mr. Color.

Thanks for looking and party on Garth!

Wow, lovely G14 and photography! What did you do for the backdrop of the photo?

Thanks! That's just an 11 x17 photo printed on a color laser printer.

Wow! That plane is really well done. I have to ask, how did you get that grass to look so realistic?! That looks real!

Thanks, Mike.  The grass mat is from a company called Silfor, it's a little pricey but really looks the part.

What did you use for lighting?

Mother Nature!  Still haven't got the indoor lighting thing completely figured so I've always taken my photos of completed builds outdoors.

Mike,

At the risk of offending,I'm not a big fan of Bf 109's. But having said that I'm impressed with your work on the G-14. Truly beautiful work my friend. Absolutely love those Italain marking!

Greg, I'll only get offended if you don't like 109s and 190s!   ;)  Thanks for the comments.

Great scheme and results.  The Mr Colour colours certainly look nice in natural light.  Congrats.  Cheers, Ralph.

Thanks, Ralph!

Mike,

All is good then my friend. While I may not be a fan of 109's I absolutely love 190's especially Dora's.
