Ivan Ivanovich Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Any love for the Lavochkin La-7? Or Yak-3 maybe? Over time I've found the landing gear sags a bit but I think that's more to do with the wacky design rather than the kit. An ML and MLA are #1 and #2 on my 2019/2020 bucket list. Not too many stones will go unturned... 1
Ivan Ivanovich Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Have you ever wondered how it looks inside a "Cock"? Pics taken in 2004, undisclosed location, Germanistan: 5

Ivan Ivanovich Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Tastes differ, but in my opinion one of the most beautiful airplanes ever built. 5
Administrators Clunkmeister Posted September 23, 2018 Author Administrators Posted September 23, 2018 I like them all, have always been a fan of big Russian freight haulers. I like the civilian aircraft because we see the big 124s all the time here in DFW,and along with the 22, 224, and IL-76M, they show Russian heavy lift to the world. Without the An-124, the Canadian Army would never have deployed their heavy mechanized brigades to Asscrackistan like they did. 3
Jeff Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I wonder how many gallons of paint it takes to cover one of those behemoths ? 2
GusMac Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Don't know what it is but the front end of these always makes me think of a catfish! 2

You need appr. 3.600 litres/792 imp gallons (~600 kg) of topcoat to paint an A380. Roughly estimated, an An-22 would need 60 to 75% of that amount. 3
Martinnfb Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Physical form of 3600 litres. Little more than is needed to coat HpH's Peacemaker 3
