BlrwestSiR Posted Monday at 07:14 PM Posted Monday at 07:14 PM Japanese garage kits back in the '80s and '90s featured a lot of unlicensed vinyl models. Mostly figures but also vehicles. A few have recently been reissued and are even licenced now. That's the case with this Chibi Godzilla I picked up last year. Made by Kaiyodo, it even has a trademark registration on it. It's a simple kit, just three parts. The excess vinyl gets trimmed off. They generally put in some cut lines to help guide you. Tail and lower body press fit together. Then add the upper body and the assembly is done. Now the fun part- the paint job. 6

There are two types of model enthusiasts. Those who haven't yet spilled a bottle of glue and those who have. I belong to the latter group. Done that before😑 I hate when that happens. Last time the CA spilled over a Takom SMK tank I was building....destroyed in seconds 1

GusMac Posted Thursday at 09:23 PM Posted Thursday at 09:23 PM Got the basic painting done on the F4D. All done with MRP and free-handed to give the new H&S airbrush (and me) a bit of a test. I sometimes forget how easy the MRP is to use. Next up is all the fun masking around the rear and on the tail for a coat of Tamiya LP black as a base for the metallics. 4
