I picked up a set of Magach 6B tracks made by San Xin. They're cast zinc and come with pre-cut brass wires to assemble them. Pretty much no clean up needed. No flash or ejector pins marks, no drilling out the linkage holes. 

Assembly of both track runs was probably less than 40 minutes. They just went together so easily. 

Here they are installed on the Magach. 

I should probably paint or weather them a bit. They look almost chromed.

I am building this WOT6 truck. I am using sprues to fabricate painting jig.

A little 109 love. 

Started on the squgglies. Excessive paint chipping was unintentional and will need to be fixed. 

Just as well, after discussions with Martin, Ithr hard wedges on the wing camo will need to be softened a tad.

I touched up the paint lifts and finished the mottling. 

Cowling is just dropped in place, not glued yet.

Started on the markings. Used some masks that I found for the fuselage and upper wing crosses. Need to see if I have any for the lower wing, otherwise it's decals.

Found some underside crosses. A bit old so they were slightly off register which meant I had to align them piece by piece.

Waiting for paint ...Tiffie back up 

Starting OPR on the underside , gunsmoke , mud thrown up , general grime . It will tone down in 24 hours as the oils properly dry 

In another note I'm off to the airfield this aircraft was flown from this weekend to meet up with the RAF Harrowbeer Preservation Group.
