Pete, to be honest  I am a bit apprehensive about painting it since I have never done any armor painting. 
Definetly outside my comfort zone for sure.

Measure twice cut once.

I need to put the helo on its feet in order to have the right cable length to hold the engine up.

Doors open of course. Just looked up the book and seems to a good way of adding depth to by shadows and highlights. Looking forward to seeing effective the technique is.

Doors open then.  Added accurate mud flaps ,remade booth fuel tanks, extented tool box in the back and adding air filter on the hood. Last photo is the new addition to the family, we rescued him from a kill shelter, he loves jumping and running after the stick.

I forgot to detail the wheel area.  I really wanted to start painting but I guess not quite.

I needed to step back, sit back and take a good long look and appreciate all the incredible work and details you keep adding. I just have no idea how you not only determine what they are but engineer how to make them.

I wasn't planning to mess with the winch in the back but I could not putty the seams correctly and after reviewing photos the kits part was a bit off for me. Made some corrections.

Also added the front winch (still in progress)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

since the kits part doesn't work for me and needed imprivement.

Meeting with the top Armor modelers in Los Angeles today so I can pick their brains about the best way to paint this truck.  Winch is done.

Remaking  the windshield, found a photo with 2 windows opened(did not know they opened). I started on the inside as well.
