1to1scale Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 So today I had the opportunity to learn from a master figure painter, and he was able to teach me how to paint figures to a whole new level, he took me from zero to hero in 9 hours, it was a long day but worth it. 3
1to1scale Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 Actually I lied, I forgot I need to add some bronze and copper elements to the helmet. 2
DocRob Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 That's brilliant, I'm speechless. The way you painted the figure, you added a lot of character. The details and hair/fur effects look very realistic. Interesting to see, that you opted for metallic shine for the helmet, instead of NNM (Non Metallic Metal) painting technique. Cheers Rob 2
Martinnfb Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Very impressive, shading and demarcation of textures is flawless.Bravo! 1

1to1scale Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 Thanks for the compliments, I have to give 90% of the credit to my friend David, he taught me so many things in such a short amount of time. I’m going to make sure I do a figure at least once a month to keep practicing. 2
GazzaS Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Splendid! Love the subtle shading on the face... the most important part. 2
