  1. Well, I didn't just get it but it's started on it's epic journey from the islands of Nippon to the clay of Holland: Hasegawa's 1/32 N1K2-J Shiden-Kai!
  2. No, we all misbehave at Telford. It's those alcoholic beverages at the Oversea's Section lunch....
  3. Ooh, looking good, Dave! That's it, my E.III gets out of it's bag!
  4. And some bottles of the furry rodent.... Cavia to the rescue!
  5. Great model, Steven! I like ALL of it but especially the "multichromatic" look of the black. It's extremely difficult to make an all black model interesting to look at and not a mere black lump of matter..... You nailed it!
  6. Rick, you could try using Future / Parket Plus. Or otherwise a smidgen of 2-component glue.
  7. I saw you working on it yesterday, Cees. A project for the brave, I'd say! The wheel well detail looks very good!
  8. Ooooooohhhhh!!!! Errrr.... Disregard ALL I posted before! My project(s) in 2014 is (are) Starfighter(s)!!!!!!! How could I forget this kit...!
  9. Mmmmhhhh, I'm always too enthusiastic and impulsive... not to mention too easily distracted and often too tired because of working shifts. So, I should really be content if I could finish a Focke-Wulf, a Pacific sunject and a WW 1 subject. All extra models would be a bonus! Three finished models would be a 300% improvement over this year if 2013 continues as it has run until now...
  10. Really good of you to take the effort to point that out, Rowan! I'm looking forward to visiting the Pheon booth at Scale Model World in 3 weeks!
  11. Well, like a real world modelling club; we're here to help and inspire each other, arent we?
  12. Impressive model! I hope you'll post some videos of it on YouTube or similar! Cheers, Erik.
  13. Yes, there is. Because the radars are different there are some differences between the rear cockpits. In the front pit there are also some differences, most noticeable the coaming. Have a look at this site: http://aviation.watergeek.eu/f4c-panel.html Hope this helps! Erik.
  14. Had a couple of looks there, seems like a friendly bunch.
  15. You can also chuck 95% of tha parts away and build a historical Tortoise as David Parker did! Just kidding of course! I hope you'll keep us updated on the progress! Cheers, erik.
  16. Yes, they sure were! The organisation was impeccable by the guys and gals of Scale Model Factory, as ever! And we northern types are always happy when we can learn of your Iberian techniques; be it for aircraft or AFV Cheers, Erik
  17. And we put some red marks on exquisite builds too, just for good measure! We of the Society of G.O.N.A.D.S.* can't sit still when we see better work than ours! So, there! * Gods Of Narcism And Demented Style
  18. I'd much prefer a Bitburger; Bitte ein Bit. Although when all is said and done; remember the old Dutch Masters, those painters from the 16th and 17th centuries? I'm afraid most came from Flanders, actually... So for the real artist's touch: go for the real Belgian beers! Not the Industrial ones like Jupiler...
  19. The texture does look quite good on the photos as does the shading of the ribtapes and the seams between the different panels. I would really like to know, however which manufacturer has the more accurate colours; WnW or Old Propellor? For some people that may sound too anal but I do like to keep the colours as near to the originals as possible. Otherwise my models would be in danger of becoming rather too artistic; like the extensive chipping one often sees on AFV's. Great to see, but not really realistic as the chips portrayed often do look more like the paint finish of a Caterpillar that's been used hard in road construction for years...
  20. The Sufa uses an F-16C/D tail while the MLU's are updated -A/B airframes.
