Okay, I caved in..... Bought Trumpy's 1/32 A-6A Intruder and have the Z-M He 219 coming my way.... Time to actually finish something as this is getting ridiculous....

Hi Rog, did a quick search for Typhoon barrels from Master of Poland (1st choice) and Aber of Poland (2nd choice) but "no joy". Not too surprising for either a very old discontinued kit or the low-volume resin evolution of same! Happy building and don't forget to document it on this forum! Looking forward to it! Cheers, Erik.

Hey Arnold! Welcome here! There is some progress and I should take some pics to show it, but I keep putting it off.... Sometimes it seems I'm just too lazy to scratch my arse...- 16 replies

Hi Rich, Welcome to LSM, for starters! And second: What a great job you're doing on that Fort! The scratchbuilding looks really delicate, and the painting too! I'm afraid I would lose all courage for such a project the moment I'd lay eyes on the basic vac-form sheets... Please keep us updated! Cheers, Erik.

Hasegawa 1/16 Camel F.1 arrived in the mail yesterday! Woohoo! Had to pay €31,- for VAT and handling to the postman though... The drawback of ordering from HLJ...

The Fokker D.VII at the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum in Soesterberg, the Netherlands. I have heard it was an original German D.VII that was shipped to the USA after WW I and was civilian owned afterwards. Supposedly it was acquired by the Museum and refurbished in the colors of the Luchtvaart Afdeeling (old Dutch spelling)of ca. 1920. I have this from hearsay, so please don't take my word for it... enjoy, I hope the photos prove themselves of use for your WnW D.VII projects! The pictures were taken by Jeroen Peters with my Nikon

Buying extra sprues of Tamiya Spitfire
One-Oh-Four replied to One-Oh-Four's topic in Modelling Discussion
Thanks Rick! I'll see if I can get it directly through the Aviation Megastore. If that won't work I'' gladly take you up on your offer! Hmmmm, is this still correct (US) English?... Cheers, Erik.- 18 replies

I've just relieved Grant of some kits: And for the Spit I have the Aussie Have-A-Go-Jo markings on the way. Did someone mention Pacific War GB?

Buying extra sprues of Tamiya Spitfire
One-Oh-Four replied to One-Oh-Four's topic in Modelling Discussion
Heheh, we don't have a regional distributor anymore. The Dutch importer ceased importing Tamiya. The importer is now the German importer; Dickies. I see that a lot of LHS's have trouble getting Tamiya kits now. Can also be because a lot of small LHS's have unified aligned themselves in the TechnoHobby Mutual acquirement organisation, whereby they have less influence over what they (as single) shop get... Maybe try the Aviation Mega Store near Amsterdam...- 18 replies

Buying extra sprues of Tamiya Spitfire
One-Oh-Four replied to One-Oh-Four's topic in Modelling Discussion
Thanks guys! As for using PCM parts; those panels don't feature the curve of the upper wing so that was a route I wasn't really ready to travel...- 18 replies

Ha! I'm not too frightened about that. I've been searching for ages for 1/32 French F8F-1B Bearcat decals, but no joy! So, even if I wish to, I just can't get the decals...
