Just checked out the build thread , she has a scale modellers touch. Great work.. how do you replace/ fit the band. I really am liking this sidetrack.

Omg....me too I spent all last night looking..guillows fw190 I really fancy a go. used to fly Alfa fw 190s rc my own paint job. Spliff can you put an electric motor, battery and switch for free flight instead of a band? Switch on and go..

Rob for a first go that looks great, when I get to that stage i would put the 76 back in very thinned.also the filters have a big effect. Keep going really like what you have done so far.

Anytime Rob, I have the .2mm, and yes that's the washer. I found after a while I squashed that washer and the seal became bad. The rubber one doesn't fail. I guess your thoughts on the .15mm are the limits with some acyrilic's. Hope you sort this annoyance soon.

Hi Rob, really like the paint job so far the colours look spot on, a great build can't wait to see this finished. As you already know I use that H&S, and suffered from paint bubbling in the cup. The paint stopped spraying, I was forever tightening the end cap to seal the (white) ptfe washer. Ptfe has a tendency to migrate. So I decided to make my own rubber washer and now no more issues. If you pm me I will gladly send you a washer. I do still get dry tip now and then but this mod works very well.
