  1. So painting wheels can be rather difficult I have found a good way to do it with the tank road wheels I paint them first the black on the outside and the green on the inside but it overlaps and makes a mess so paint the black again so it's clean and then wrap it with painting tape and paint the inner wheel. Also made a small tool from a cocktail stick and some tape to hold them easilybefore wrapping the green is visibly baddurighn pantingafter my proses
  2. Also wondering on how to make possible battledamage wondered about making slight indents in some parts of the armour with a small hand drill like shell impacts
  3. Ok I'm back and just glued half of the road wheels together and have to paint the edges black. Just checked they fit properly. Wondering wether to touchup the scratched paint or weather it like the hull?? Any suggestions welcome
  4. Taking a short break over bank holiday weekend.
  5. Suspension arms have been painted, filed and cemented into position now just have to leave it to set over night and then touch up all the scratched pain

  7. ah what an interesting build a few questions I have to ask. one: I guess you can call it a stand or jig but did you make it yourself or is it a kit? two: The foam in the engines I am assuming that is for stopping paint going were you don't want it.

  11. Starting now first two parts, left is before filing and right is after. enjoy
  12. Latest project is a American Heavy tank T30/34 I will be building the T34 version and i will be using the plan camouflage scheme. I will also be trying weathering powder to put on the lower hull, tracks and on some other areas. i will also be putting weathering on parts like exhausts and gun muzzle.

  16. Still too many wheels. This is about where I am at the moment. I'm a bit stuck because the instructions aren't very easy. I'll take some new photos soon.
  17. If got 2 sets of 11 small wheels to put on the tank, now that's 22 wheels made up of 2 halves. That is 44 small bits of plastic to paint.
