  1. Pictures I found of a Ki-61, Ki-43 and Ki-44 all seem to indicated that they were the same color as the cockpit interior. So that is what I'll go with.
  2. Is the inside of Japanese canopy frames the same color as the inside cockpit color? Working on a Tony and not sure of the inside frame color. If all else fails I guess I can use the SWAG method. Cheers, Jerry
  3. Okay, but what happened to the Skyraider?? Put it back on the SOD? Jerry
  4. Thanks John. It was actually headed for the trash can but I decided to give it another try after I had finished the Hasagawa Eagle. It came out decent but I'll stick with the Hasegawa or Tamiya Eagles. Jerry
  5. This time it is the Revell 1/48 F-15C of the 194th FS, 144th Fighter Wing. Used a True Details resin seat, Reskit resin wheels, Eduard Zoom PE cockpit and Two Bobs "Repo Eagles" decals. This Revell kit is a crappy kit with a high CUSS factor and a real putty hog. Beware!!!!! Cheers, Jerry
  6. Well done John. In my 20 plus 1/48 Phantom builds all I have ever used is the Hasegawa and Monogram F-4 kits. They still build up nice after all these years. Still have a closet full of Phantoms. I'd better get busy and build some more. Jerry
  7. I am about to finish the Revell kit in those markings but in the aggressor sand/brown colors with decals from Two Bobs "Repo Eagles" sheet.
  8. Thanks Smitty and nice mug shot. Yeah, 32nd would be nice but I can understand Jake's reluctance in doing it. LOL I am also going to do the Oregon ANG Eagle off that sheet at a later date.
  9. Yes, the Hasegawa kit is a nice kit as well as is the Tamiya Eagle. I understand that the GWH kit is very nice too but was a bit to pricey for me. I am about to finish another Calif. ANG Eagle using the Revell kit (#85-5870). Stay as far away from this kit as you can. It is a PITA POS. Very poor fit. As John B. would say, it has a very high CUSS factor. Cheers, Jerry
  10. Recently finished is the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15C of the 194th FS, 144th Fighter Wing of the Calif. ANG. Used a True Details resin seat, Aries exhaust nozzles and Speed Hunter Graphics Heritage Eagle decals. Otherwise OOB During the summer of 2018, the 144th FW contracted to design a new paint scheme for an Eagle to celebrate the units 75th Anniversary. As of Feb. 2022 the jet remains in this striking scheme and has flown daily training missions from Fresno alongside its standard squadron mates. It has even been photographed while on alert duty armed with live missiles. Last picture is of the actual aircraft being refueled on its way for a flyover at the 2022 Super Bowl back in Feb. Cheers, Jerry
  11. Thanks Bomber. Sorry, I don't do WIP's.
  12. Since I am doing A-10's, here is the Revell 1/48 A-10 I did many years ago. Totally OOB.
  13. Just finished the Tamiya 1/48 A-10 Thunderbolt II. Used a True Details resin seat, Two Bobs decals and a Master Model gun barrel and pitot tube, otherwise OOB. I do believe that in the time it took me to do this build John B finish about 6 or more builds. Cheers, Jerry
  14. WOW!! Another outstanding speedy build John. Love it. Cheers, Jerry
  15. Looks great John. You cussed it right into a nice looking F-80C. Cheers, Jerry
  16. Very well done Thomas. Awesome build. Cheers, Jerry
  17. Thanks. Went to Scalemates but missed seeing the pdf download.
  18. Where can I download it from??? Also where can I find some 1/32 A6M5c Zero decals?? Cheers, Jerry
  19. Looks great Kevin. Jerry
  20. You got that right John. Mine ended up in the dumpster. Jerry
  21. Very nice build John. Outstanding (as usual for you, LOL). And the John B building machine rolls on. Jerry
  22. Looking for the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15C. Either kit #PT-49 07249 or P-10 07010. I have this posted in the sell/buy section and no one has made me delete it yet.. Do you by chance have one in what you are going liquidate? Cheers, Jerry
  23. Right in there with you John. Been single the last 32 years.
  24. Exactly why I don't I don't use the paint cup.
