  1. Hot damn.!!! What a beautiful sight. Thanks for posting Kev.
  2. Amazing what you can find hidden away in a closet. Found this Monogram 1/32 P-51D and Revell 1/32 Harrier, Mirage 5J, Hurricane and JU-87 that I built back in the early/mid 90's. Guess they got shoved into a back corner of the closet and forgotten. Cheers, Jerry
  3. Thanks Peter. About 50 years now not counting the years when I first started as a kid in the late 40's building balsa stick and paper models and then the start of the Monogram stuff in the early 50's. Gave it up as a teenager and obtained my amateur (ham) radio license. Got back into models in the early 70's when my oldest son got interested in model rockets. Was in a K-Mart when he was 7 getting him some rocket stuff and came across the old Revell 1/32 Corsair and P-38J Lightning. Thought "why not" it would be something I could do with him and it has been downhill ever since. What I have in the display cases is just a fraction of what I have done since the mid 70's. I gave all of my 1/48th WW II builds to a local museum and started concentrating more on 1/32 builds because of the ease of seeing it better. I am 82 now. Thanks for asking. Cheers, Jerry
  4. I used the Model Master standard dark tan, dark green and medium green. On one of them I tried the same colors in MRP paints. Love those paints. Cheers, Jerry
  5. Here you go Chris. Eighteen 1/48 and five 1/32 Phantoms along with my entire collection. Cheers, Jerry
  6. Thanks Martin. Glad to share with you guys. Cheers, Jerry
  7. Thanks Peter. Those old Monogram/Revell kits are still fun builds. Of those 23 builds five are 1/32. Cheers, Jerry
  8. First completion of 2023 (started back in Sept.) is the Monogram 1/48 F-4C of the 171st FIS of the Michigan ANG. Used Aries resin exhaust nozzles and Caracal decals, otherwise OOB. This is my 23rd Phantom. Number 24 will be finished soon. Cheers, Jerry
  9. Another outstanding build John. Awesome. Jerry
  10. Well done Neil. I need to be on the look out for that new Revell Hurricane. I built the old one years ago. Cheers, Jerry
  11. My 2022 completions. Have two F-4C/D's started this past Sept. to get finished (while John B finished about six since then LOL). The A-10 and both F-15C's are 1/48. The rest 1/32. Cheers, Jerry
  12. Right and you gave the number to an operator who would say "number please".
  13. My granddaughter found this on Ancestry, com. My dad's draft registration form from 1940. Cheers, Jerry
  14. Here is a couple of Voodoo's I did in the past years. Good luck with your build. Cheers, Jerry
  15. Got that right Carl. I started two 1/48 Phantoms four months ago and I think John has finished at least 4 or 5 while I have been trying to muddle through the two I got going. Cheers, Jerry
  16. Awesome build John. Looks great for another speed demon build. Jerry
  17. Great price but I have already built one. Still have the "G" in the stash to do. Jerry
  18. Exactly how I do 48th and 32nd wheels. Jerry
  19. Looks great John. Thought maybe you might do it in the Alcald polished aluminum. Beautiful finish never the less. Makes me want to drag out my "C" and do it. Cheers, Jerry
  20. Horrible and very sad. A young man and member of our model club is a crew member on that B-17G "Texas Raider" during the summer show months. I have known him since he was in grade school. Luckily he was not a part of the crew for this show. Prayers and condolences to all the families of those who were lost. Jerry
  21. WOW!!!! Awesome job Dave. Well done. Cheers, Jerry
  22. Good luck John. Built that sometime ago. I still have a "C" I want to do in NMF. Jerry
  23. WOW!!! Outstanding build Sasha. Cheers, Jerry
