  1. OH!!! PLEASE tell me you're doing skis as well - in which case you're forgiven for switching builds. I absolutely love the one that's shown on that site, it's gorgeous - I wonder whether the skis were made of wood??? @ Johann: Like your Russian User banner, It's really cool?
  2. Hang on !??? Are you allowed to start this yet??? What about the Ninak ??
  3. Very nice ! <<little voice>> ... build a Mossie ... Mossie, build a Mossie ... !!
  4. A work of art Obi Wan! Stunning. You've missed a bit !
  5. I'm really enjoying this proliferation of aircraft laid bare. I've just ordered some of Uschi's Super Fine Veneer Plywood which might suit this kind of build too.
  6. Mr Mark Setter .. Is that your personal choice of weapon Jim? I assume it's better than its Microscale counterpart?
  7. I agree, the booklet is an extremely nice touch. I'd love to see these 1st hand.
  8. I appreciate that you don't want or like flattery but it's impossible to comment without it - what I do have, however, is admiration for your work and also for the manner in which you explain it all in such easy to understand "chapters". Flattery can be shallow and insincere whereas admiration is deep and genuine. Mine is a genuine admiration for your work. I'm certainly looking forward to more and to this new aspect of our modelling world - 3D printing.
  9. Wow, two things all at once. Vac formed build and what must be a HUGE model. Superb!
  10. Order processed and in the post already !! I'm keen to see this get going.
  11. Wow Johann ... I know where I'm going to ask for information from now!! You've some extraordinary information to hand. Wow.
  12. Hahaha!! Thanks Jeroen your custom is always appreciated, order already placed for more Old Propeller decals .. and a couple of wooden propellers to have a look at too. Will re-order Uschi's decals tomorrow!
  13. WOW ! I for one can't wait. Anything you need, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
  14. Fabulous Cees, so clean, so neat! great job. Can't wait for the paint now.
  15. If you're interested in the Tamiya Marine F-4J Phantom II then I have one on my site which, with the LSM Membership discount brings it down further and I'll throw in the postage and packing charge as well (if you're in the UK).
  16. I too received my 1/16th Camel from HLJ with a whopping great big £22 bill from Customs and Excise + £13.00 "Clearance Fee" from ParcelForce !!! (Arrived last week but I forgot to post it here!) Why am I buying Retail ????
  17. Lovely work as always Jeroen. I've always enjoyed your previous works mate but I think you've found your natural home with WW1 subjects.
  18. Wow, those are quite simply brilliant. Super, well done Gregory.
  19. Chris, I've said it before but this is definitely the very best Mosquito I've seen yet, staggeringly good work and superb painting techniques. Bravo! You must be very proud.
  20. Yeah, not bad I suppose. Are ya kiddin' me??? ..... That's amazing Jim!! - I absolutely love it and it would look just as good if it weren't varnished later !
  21. Wow, that's absolutely amazing. That's the equivalent to the Isopropanol I use for acrylic. Amazon sells liquid Sodium hydroxide in 5 litre jugs but they're 50% concentrate. I'm sure that'll do the job but just a little longer.
  22. Thank you Martin .. appreciate your support. All of my kits are well below RRP and I intend to keep them like that but within reason as I have get something out of it. Oh course, there'll always be an exception but if there is .. call me and we see what we can do. Always remember too that LSM Members receive a discount on purchases over £50.00. The shop Nick has found is marvellous but you are reliant on their help with customs declarations etc which if, Duty were paid, would bring their prices up to my level.
