    Done with this one! The only after market is the FineMolds seat belts. Painted with Colourcoats, Xtracolor, and Testor's MM. Decals are from the kit and Eaglecals. I hope you like it!

    As of now I'm nearly done with the decals. Next I'll start on some exhaust stains and weathering. Remember you can click on the picture for best resolution (and see any buggerups).

    Thanks Carl. It's coming right along. I don't know what caused your problem with the wings but I figure it was the very tricky way to mount them and the gear. Over engineered. 🙄

    Thanks. I really like Xtracolor. As far as I've been able to find there's no one stateside that handles it due to shipping restrictions. The only way to get some is have a friend in England get it for you and ship it. 🙄

    Painting underway! Xtracolor RLM 75 and MM RLM 76 done. RLM 74 coming up.

    All those "super wings" parts that aren't needed are a waste. Most of the interior fuselage parts fall under that category. I left several of them out as they just weren't necessary. 🤪

    If I ever decide I want to build another Bf-109 it won't be one by ZM. In my opinion the Hasegawa kits are quite satisfactory and don't suffer from poor instructions and poor fit (and high price!). We can always purchase after market items to "dress 'em up" (decals, resin detail sets, etc).

    That Yahu IP looks better than the other but it still has a few "speckles". Probably not readily visible when installed, etc.
