Just reinforcing my feelings about NOT getting another one. Too bad it's such a "Beast" to build. With or without the extras. I look forward to seeing the completed model.

I just thought this would be a good time to do this. Maybe a bit late since the fire and all but better late than never. My only completed Fisher build is the Sea Fury which I modeled as the one I saw at a airshow in Alton, IL YEARS ago. It was owned at the time by Ormond Hayden Bailey who was killed in a P-51 crash a few years later. A enjoyable kit to build!

Those Sea Fury kits are really nice. Mine turned out great! I have a idea guys, why don't we start a thread with nothing but Fisher aircraft builds? Should be interesting. If it's okay I'll kick things off.

My "Holy Grail kit(s)" are the Tamiya 1/32 CORSAIRS. I've built 14 and have another on the bench right now. Add 2 Trumpeter Corsairs to that. LOL

When the parts fit the build goes well! LOL

Making some good progress. So enjoyable that everything fits!

My Panther's vertical tail is slightly warped to the left. Not REAL noticeable unless you look at it from the front. I've tried heating it up with hot water and a hair dryer but the resin is just too thick. I don't want to overdo it and screw it up so I've just left it alone. I'll get back to it one of these days.

Nice work Scott! She came out really looking good. I have two in my stash (a 2-seat Cougar and a -2 Panther) that I had "started" and never finished but the intent is to get back to at least one of them. Again, very nice work and a a great save on the decals.
