  1. Thank you Phil. I hope to have it finished later today. Stay tuned! LOL
  2. Thanks Troy. Decaling is complete so now I'm attaching the landing gear, etc. Should be done later today! 😀
  3. Got the decals today so it won't be long before it's finished.
  4. Making a little progress on the -26 racer. Pics later.
  5. Thanks you! I'm glad you like the results of my efforts.
  6. Thanks Peter. As you can tell I like to stay busy.
  7. Started on my next build which is the 1/48 ICM A-26B. This will be another racer build and should really be a eye pleaser. Good for the Group Build.
  8. Thanks Kai! It certainly will stand out in the crowd!
  9. Nice and glossy Gaz! The decals should lay down nicely then I'll overspray with semi-gloss.
  10. Easy peasy Peter. It just takes a lot of paint! LOL (I used up all my gloss yellow!)
  11. Thank you Peter. It works with all of the lighter colors, white, light gray, etc.
  12. Thanks Carl. I agree, yellow can be a problem. As it is I had to apply 2 coats of flat and 3 of gloss to get satisfactory coverage. 🙄
  13. Painting completed. Now just waiting for the decals which are supposed to deliver this Friday. Remember to click on the photo for best resolution.
  14. Thanks Peter. Just many years of experience.
  15. I decided to go on and paint the black control surfaces. I'll mask them off when I paint the gloss yellow.
  16. Thanks Kai. It's just Testor's flat yellow from their little .25 oz bottle. Same with the gloss yellow. I figure using flat yellow for a primer/base coat would work well.
  17. All primed with flat yellow and about ready for the gloss yellow. I don't have the decals in hand yet but should be ready for them when they show up.
  18. Good looking 262 build Jerry. Nice work!
  19. It's coming along well Gaz and I hope to have it paint ready in a couple of days.
  20. Thanks Peter. Luckily the plug fit okay and didn't take a whole lot of work. Although the wing roots have tons of putty they are smoothing out well. I hope to get the canopy, ailerons, rudder and elevators attached soon.
  21. Coming right along. I still have a lot to do before I can hit it with some primer overall.
  22. Progress made. Fuselage plug installed, sanded and primed. Wings attached and puttied.
  23. Thanks Troy. With racers we don't have to stick with "cookie cutter" color schemes and markings. It's nice to have something a bit different to build.
  24. Thanks Peter. A pretty unusual setup I must say. LOL
