  1. Of course I know that Harv.
  2. Invasion stripes on wings applied but yet to be touched up.
  3. Thanks. All this helps keep me off the streets! LOL
  4. Thanks Peter. As far as I can tell painting the stripes, etc first is about the easiest approach. Get that all done then the camo and then the decals.
  5. Thanks! Yes indeed!
  6. Thank you Hubert.
  7. Thanks! Invasion stripes are next up.
  8. Works for me.
  9. To be honest Gaz they didn't close up easily this time. Had a fairly high cuss-factor.
  10. Time to do some preliminary painting. Next I'll mask off the areas for the invasion stripes and get them laid down.
  11. LOL Me too Peter!!!
  12. Sad but likely true Peter.
  13. I wonder why they aren't announcing any 1/32 WW II a/c. In my very humble opinion they are missing the boat for a couple of Hellcats (-3 & -5) and a better P-51B/C to name a few. I've been doing my bit on their 1/32 kits so now it's time for them to step up.
  14. Agreed. It could have been a lot worse though.
  15. Same here Dennis. I did leave the cowlings off and did some detailing on my 1st Mk IX a few years ago. I figure that has it covered. LOL
  16. Yep, no point in adding them if they won't be seen. Thanks!
  17. Since I plan to have the engine covers in place there's no need to do any detailing, etc. there.
  18. High and dry now. Too bad it was further damaged on recovery.
  19. Thanks Gaz.
  20. No doubt it will be a big job but at least the a/c was saved.
  21. Yes indeed!
  22. Thank you. Nope, no rework at all. Completely OOB, etc.
  23. Agreed! Very well done. It has been recovered now for rebuild, etc.
  24. Making some progress! I'll start on the nose next with engine covers in place.
