LOL! Well get with the program!
-
I use a custom mix. RLM 23 red with some white and small amount of yellow added. All Model Master.
-
Not as yet.
-
Yes indeed! LOL Right now I'm planning on this one. The decals are from HGW and are "wet transfers".
-
Love those Tamiya Corsair kits. LOL
-
Maybe so Smitty but I would know. No fun in doing that.
-
Since I'm burned out right now on the Mossie I think it's time for another Corsair (my standby for the burnout cure). In keeping with my usual build process, I have begun painting most of the interior, wheels, canopy, etc. All that will be done and ready when I get to that portion of the build.

Hasegawa BF109F-4- finished!

That's a nice kit Carl and a easy build. I look forward to seeing the final result. -
Hobbycraft F6A D-Day - Ready for inspection!

Very nice work! I like it!!! -
Time to set it aside for a bit. I'm burned out on it for now so I'll go on to something else (Tamiya F4U-1 birdcage to be exact. My old standby for the burn out cure! LOL).
-
Thanks Carl. It's a heck of a nice kit. Outstanding Tamiya detail and fit through out. However, I will be glad to get it finished and go on to something else that won't be quite as involved.
-
3 months so far. It will probably be at least 4 or more before completion. That's a long time for me to be on one build! LOL
-
Progress as of today. I still have to get the gun/bomb bay done. It won't much longer until I can over spray with a primer.
-
It's about time for something "new" in 1/32 from them.
-
Dragon Panther G late- quick build (?)
JohnB replied to BlrwestSiR's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
I look forward to seeing the completed build Carl. Painting road wheels isn't my cup of tea either. -
It's nearly all needed Ernie. If you choose to close up the engines that will negate the need for some of those engine parts.
-
Yep! Too big a price, very complex, and too big a model LOL. (and too high a cuss-factor sometimes!)
-
It will make a very nice model but I doubt I'll purchase another.
-
Yes Ernie, this kit has a LOT of stuff in it. A outstanding kit but very fiddly at times which tends to take away from the enjoyment. I'm glad I decided to stay with it but I will also be glad to get it finished.
-
Thanks. I have decided to stay with the Mosquito. Too far along on the build to set it aside.
-
That's something I'm considering. For the moment I'm still working on the Mosquito.
-
Well heck! I'm "on the fence" here. Trying to get my arse in gear and MAKE A DECISION. Stay with the Mosquito or put it aside for a bit and start something else?
-
It's coming along well but I need a break. Another Corsiar maybe! LOL
-
Status as of today. I'm considering putting this one aside for a bit (NOT SOD) as I'm a little burned out on it at the moment. I'll get back to it soon.

So the wife told me to get rid of 10 kits from the stash...
JohnB replied to ScottsGT's topic in General Discussion
Quite often I'll buy a kit because it's new and cool. The upcoming RFM Pz. Mk.IVJ falls in that category. Outstanding box art too. I rarely build armor but that doesn't stop me from buying more. I wonder how much box art influences us. In my case quite a bit.
