  1. Thanks Harv. Sure will be glad to get this one done.
  2. Thanks! Sure is nice to be on the home stretch! I hope to have it finished in 2 or 3 days (fingers crossed).
  3. Thank you Gaz! I was hoping the prop would turn out ok and am really pleased with it too.
  4. I appreciate the kind words Jeff, thanks. I will say there were times I wish I hadn't started this one. Now it seems the end is in sight and all the high cuss-factor stuff is past (fingers crossed!). When done I'll have to look for a "fun build" next! LOL
  5. Decaling under way. A long way to go yet.
  6. About done. Just need to add the cannon barrel.
  7. Photo of the finished spinner and props soon!
  8. When I looked at it it sure looked to me like it was red first. Glad I asked!
  9. Thanks guys.
  10. Opinions needed. This is the a/c I'm doing but I have a question for you guys. Everything I have been able to find says the spinner is blue/white/red with the blue in front. Looking at photos, unfortunately b&w, it appears to me it should be red/white/blue with the red in front. What say you?
  11. Nice job Gaz.
  12. Yes indeed! And this model certainly has it's share.
  13. Thanks Jeroen. There was a time I didn't think I'd get this far with it!
  14. Thanks Gaz.
  15. About ready for some decal work!
  16. Thanks. Coming along now.
  17. First coat of Alclad applied.
  18. Fun indeed Ernie! LOL Sounds like a passel of headaches.
  19. It does make a nice model but I think I've had enough P-63 builds. I'm considering another Corsair just to re-visit a fun build!
  20. LOL Thanks. It would be hard to find for sure, at least for a decent price. I have another in my stash but that's where it will stay as I have no intentions whatsoever of building it. Three is enough!
  21. Thanks Gaz.
  22. All primed and ready for painting to begin. French AF Indo China/Vietnam.
  23. I don't think I've ever encountered that problem. Bummer! My choice of paints has long been enamels and Alclad which might have something to do with it. Good luck straightening it out!
  24. Agreed Harv. Thanks! Next I'll overspray the model with primer in preparation for some PAINT. Still a long way to go though.
  25. Better! Not perfect but better. Still some small areas to clean up.
