  1. Done with the invasion stripes. Getting a start on painting more areas.
  2. Coming along well Peter! Looks really good.
  3. If you don't mind Carl I'll take the codes JE-J. Just slip 'em in a envelope and mail them. Thank you!!!!!
  4. Would any of you guys have either of these 1/32 Mask sheets? Montex 32005 Maketar 32090 I want to use it for the JE-J codes on this build. I'd like to get 'em ASAP as the model is about ready for them. This wasn't to be my original approach but after consideration I think it is the best way to go. Let me know $$$ and I'll send payment via PayPal. Thanks!!!!!
  5. As they say "different strokes for different folks" Peter. I recommend this method.
  6. It has always worked for me Phil.
  7. I decided to get a ICM kit so I can do some comparing. I had a nice "rewards credit" at SB and saved $52.00 on the kit.
  8. Thanks Peter. Just a bit of measuring and masking.
  9. Of course I know that Harv.
  10. Invasion stripes on wings applied but yet to be touched up.
  11. Thanks. All this helps keep me off the streets! LOL
  12. Thanks Peter. As far as I can tell painting the stripes, etc first is about the easiest approach. Get that all done then the camo and then the decals.
  13. Thanks! Yes indeed!
  14. Thank you Hubert.
  15. Thanks! Invasion stripes are next up.
  16. Works for me.
  17. To be honest Gaz they didn't close up easily this time. Had a fairly high cuss-factor.
  18. Time to do some preliminary painting. Next I'll mask off the areas for the invasion stripes and get them laid down.
  19. LOL Me too Peter!!!
  20. Sad but likely true Peter.
  21. I wonder why they aren't announcing any 1/32 WW II a/c. In my very humble opinion they are missing the boat for a couple of Hellcats (-3 & -5) and a better P-51B/C to name a few. I've been doing my bit on their 1/32 kits so now it's time for them to step up.
  22. Agreed. It could have been a lot worse though.
  23. Same here Dennis. I did leave the cowlings off and did some detailing on my 1st Mk IX a few years ago. I figure that has it covered. LOL
  24. Yep, no point in adding them if they won't be seen. Thanks!
