Hello folks. I joined LSM a good while back but haven't been active for a long time. I intend to remedy that now. 1/32 military a/c, mostly WW II, is my main area of interest. See you in the Forums!
John
Thank you. I should mention that the wheels are from a old Matchbox SBD I built many years ago. The kit wheels/tires are way too thin. I added a chart I printed out on my computer for the pull out chart board. The seat belts are from Eduard. The rear pit guns are brass.
Hi guys,
I haven't posted here in quite some time so now I think I will remedy that. This is my recent build of the Trumpeter 1/32 SBD-3 during the Battle of Santa Cruz. This is one of Trumpeter's better kits and it was a enjoyable build. I hope you like the results of my efforts.
Thanks guys. The only real trouble I had with the build was trying to get the Aires cockpit to fit. I wound up only using the Aires sidewalls and seat.
I recently completed work on this model. I have always liked the wasp insignia on the '109's and '110's and decided it was time to build one. Decals came from the Kagero Topdrawings book on the Bf-109E. I hope you like it!
That's going to be a beauty Frank. I just received mine today and am very favorably impressed. I plan to hold off on building it for a while and see what the after-market guys come up with. I look forward to following your build.
Thanks Paul. It's a really good kit. Here's a link to my post of the finished model.
