Trumpeter TBM-3 finished
JohnB replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
I'm glad you like the TBM build Ernie. I've used the Alclad Kleer Flat, Semi-flat and gloss for years and never had a problem. Lucky I guess! -

No Eduard stuff Mike. Just the Black Box/Avionics parts. -

They were all done and posted on "The other site" Phil. Before we bailed out of there!

Currently working on another Tamiya P-51D (my 8th). Here is the scheme I plan to use. As these markings aren't available in 1/32 I've made them by scanning a 1/48 Aero Master sheet, resizing and then printing on clear decal paper with my laser printer. WIP photos soon.

Thanks Dave. I'll check it out. I checked it out and I think it would work just fine. They sure are proud of it @$26.00!

Is there a stateside seller of their stuff? I'm specifically wanting their Spitfire MK II spinner/props or anyone else's replacement spinner/props for the Revell Mk II kit. Thanks!

Thank you Rob. I wanted this one to really show some wear and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I agree, the gray fin is a bit unusual. -

Thanks Gaz. I'll consider it but, as I said to Ernie, WW II Japanese stuff isn't my cup of tea. -

Thanks Ernie. I had a couple of the Zero kits at one time but sold them off as Japanese WW II stuff isn't my cup of tea. I do have a Hasegawa A6M5 I built about 30 years ago which goes well with the Corsairs. I'll have to post a photo of it with my latest Corsair. I too am looking forward to the Airfix Hellcat. Should be a winner! -

Thanks Martin. -
As most of you already know I really like Corsairs and Tamiya, in my humble opinion, has released the best kits of the Corsair I think we'll ever see. So here is my 10th build. Mostly OOB except for Barracudacast wheels, cockpit decals, and FineMolds seat belts. Painted with Colourcoats and oversprayed with Alclad clear flat. Decals are a mix of kit decals, Barracudacals and Eagle Edition Decals. I hope you will like the results of my efforts.
