  1. Getting there!
  2. I look forward to seeing your progress as you go along Rob.
  3. Thanks Mike. I have most of the decals on now so it's really looking like a 56th FG Jug!
  4. Welcome to LSM Kai!
  5. I agree Cees.
  6. Thanks. As I was spraying the 1st color I kept thinking it just wasn't "right" but decided to continue and see how it looked when done. I knew then a different color was needed!
  7. Thanks Phil. Helps me to keep my sanity! LOL
  8. Grey Matter F4U-1A engine/accessory bay. Outstanding resin. One of these days I'll do a -1A with all that. Should make a great looking model.
  9. Thanks Gaz. Decaling is next!
  10. I agree Peter. I'll shoot the gloss on tomorrow and start decaling after it's dry. Coming along okay!
  11. Thank you for that. Much appreciated.
  12. Agreed. But I wonder how much the clear gloss overcoat will affect it. I don't think it will too much but time will tell. Gotta do that for the decals so we'll see.
  13. Re-paint done. Better I think.
  14. I think I'll overspray with some Model Master 34087 as it's a bit "browner". I sure hate to have to re-paint as it takes (took) the better part of a hour. Just call me lazy! LOL
  15. Camo painting done but I'm really not happy with the results. Too green in my opinion. I used Colourcoats OD41 but I think I'll do a re-paint with something else.
  16. LOL Sorry about that!
  17. Sounds interesting.
  18. Coming along nicely Peter.
  19. Some good resin cockpit parts would be great. The really nice Vector sets have gotten very pricey now.
  20. Thanks for that! Should be very useful when the time comes. PS: As sometimes happens I have that book and just didn't realize that diagram was in it. DUH!!!
  21. I'm in no big hurry but it would be nice to know some are available somewhere.
  22. Yes. And the angle of the dangle is perpendicular to the fall of the balls when the beat of the meat is constant. LOL
  23. He did a outstanding job. As I'm lazy I'd prefer to have some ready-made tips and not have to do all the cutting, etc. However, if push comes to shove I guess I'd have to if I want a FAA a/c.
  24. Great looking Corsair Bary. Nice work.
  25. I am considering doing a FAA Corsair at some point but I have one question: Has anyone provided the clipped wingtips necessary for a FAA bird? Thanks in advance.
