  1. Thanks Guys We're as safe and ready as we can be. We live on the North Shore of Long Island and of course in Suffolk County and hanging in there. Keep 'em comin Peter
  2. John Nice start and the wing rivets do look a lot better plus the panel lines seem a lot less prominent Riding with you all the way Keep 'em comin Peter
  3. Thanks Carl Fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Hoping the storm moves to the east, put it out over the ocean when it passes us and maybe not too serve in New England which is just north of us. Keep 'em comin Peter
  4. Ernie Looking so good and then the canopy - just seems there is something always around the corner to bite us. Just go with the other canopy - is it possible to drill out the hole for the sight tube? Keep 'em comin Peter
  5. Kai Got ya - they are a dull, flat finish for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter

  7. Martin Exactly on the money Keep 'em comin Peter
  8. I live on Long Island, New York and Hurricane Henri storm track has been slowly moving to the west and that unfortunately means Henri is targeting the middle of the island. Hopefully the track might change again to the east but the forecast doesn't look good. The hurricane should hit us sometime late tomorrow, shore and beach areas have received evacuation notices. Going to be a bad weekend. ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ Keep 'em comin Peter
  9. Smitty Thanks for the info. Sounds great Keep 'em comin Peter
  10. John One good looking scheme for sure. I'll be ready and waiting for the fun to begin. Keep 'em comin Peter
  11. Hubert Well said and you're right on the money. ROI is the number one priority or staying in business will be a dream that doesn't come true. I'm sitting tight and seeing what happens but until there is an actual production model to see, as (CAD drawings unfortunately carry no weight or value). So I'm not getting excited as who knows. Keep 'em coming Peter
  12. Phil Just want one: the F4B and she sure is going to be BIG! And the news coming from SB, has to be solid. Keep 'em comin Peter
  13. Smitty Has anyone actually seen a built up model or even received the pre-ordered ones? I'll be checking out LSP in a little while. Just seams too good to be true Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. All of a sudden the world of modeling is surging: Kotare JetMad Sprue Brothers Am I dreaming or what? Keep 'em comin Peter
  15. I just read this announcement on Sprue Brothers website: NEW FAMILY OF 1:32 F-4 PHANTOMS In partnership with Phantom Phreaks, we have been working on a very special project that we can finally announce - a new family of 1:32 F-4 Phantom kits. Twelve (12) versions are planned beginning in 2022. Tentatively the first release will be the F-4B. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months. Click here to see the video announcement If this is really going to happen, I couldn't ask for more Keep 'em comin Peter
  16. Just received a newsletter from DN Models and low and behold I read about JetMads for the first time. www.jetmads.com Their first run of 500 units of the 1/32 Viggens and Skystreak sold out in what seemed an instance to me and a second run of Viggens is supposed to be ready for August (?). Their releases are amazing but with production runs so short, Pre-orders are the only way to purchase a kit - which receive a 20% discount. I assuming the only way to pre order a kit, is to keeping checking their website as to when a kit will be available. One planned aircraft that caught my eye was the 1/48 B-47 and a number of other as well. Anyone have one of their kits or have any first hand knowledge of the kits and the company? Keep โ€˜em comin Peter
  17. Welcome aboard and some very fine work on the Hawkeye and those props and brass hub: wow! Keep โ€˜em comin Peter
  18. Carl Looking simply fantastic - canโ€™t wait to see her cross the finish line Keep โ€˜em comin Peter
  19. John Brilliant build and it has your style all over it. Added details and corrections blend in perfectly and the finish - what can I say - simply stellar work. Weathering is so realistic and enhances the aircraft - just love the effect.๐Ÿ† Keep 'em comin Peter
  20. John Congrats on the build and heading over. Keep 'em comin Peter
  21. Gaz Terrific painting for sure except for the crew of the Helldiver Keep 'em comin Peter
  22. Thanks Rob Completely agree on how far Tamiyas decals have come and I've been using them hand and hand with Furball's (cartograf) and they look just the part. And for my money, I try to use the least amount of stencils - just looking for the effect. Both companies decals do respond very well to both Micro Set and Micro Sol which I've used now since the 1970's. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Keep 'em comin Peter
  23. Thanks Gaz, very much appreciated Keep 'em comin Peter
  24. Kai I'm betting your tiedown spot on the Flighline is ready and waiting. What type of flat varnish are you planning on using? I don't remember exactly when I changed but these days I much prefer a final top clear coat of either semi matt or semi gloss, rather then a full flat finish, especially on aircraft that are well maintained. Keep 'em comin Peter
  25. Scott Looking forward to your photos and the VMFA 323 Death Rattlers sounds perfect. The ZM and Hasegawa intakes just take a bit more work and your there. Keep 'em comin Peter
