  1. Ernie Thanks for the info and after watching their video, I was very impressed with the epoxy. Always great to have friends. Peter
  2. Pete Very nice work on adding the details to the Merlins that Aixfix should have. Included for a 24th scale kit. Fully agree about the copper pipes... on my Tamiya kit I spent a lot of time painting them mainly with Alclad Copper if I remember correctly but they add so much to the finished engine. Looking mighty good Keep ‘em comin Peter
  3. John Glad to see the P-61 back on the bench and underway way again. Looking forward to following your progress. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  4. John Not sure if I posted correctly before: Always a pleasure to follow your work. Beautiful work and the finish is perfect as always. Peter
  5. John Awesome build and a joy to follow. Aces on the finish: yours are always a gem. Peter
  6. Harv, same here, can’t open the pdf’s. The Camel is an awesome kit and looks fantastic. I’ve often thought of dedicating a year or more to a single project and somehow, 1/200 ships keep coming to the top of my list. Of course I keep telling myself such thoughts are nuts and the odds are it will always remain just a thought. Peter
  7. Geez, I would love to see any P-51B decals, such as : Ding Ho. But wait, we’re missing just one key ingredient: an accurate P-51B. Fingers still crossed and hoping Peter
  8. Took the plunge and ordered the Lone Star Cockpit Set and now I wait. Working on the lower wings and hopefully an update this weekend. So far, looking at the AM that has arrived and still on order, I’ve more then tripled the cost if the kit. Could this be the early signs of insanity? Peter
  9. Thanks Ernie Going over to theirvsite and checking it out Peter
  10. Does anyone have experience using the epoxy HPH sells and recommends for resin kits? I mainly use CCA and every once in a while two part epoxy I buy at the local hardware store which is on the thick side and messy to use. I’ve watched the videos on the HPH web site and their epoxy seems easier to use. Thank You Peter
  11. Carl Always seems the way. How hard do you think it will be to have HK send a replacement set? Peter
