  1. William Surely hope I can come close to your beauty! and thanks for the reminder about the window - I did forget. Peter
  2. Ade Great to see you here with the old gang and let the good times role. Just finished catching up on the Stuka and some mighty fine work on the front office and IP. Beautiful work as always Keep ‘em comin Peter
  3. Pete Awesome work and enjoying evrry step of thevway Keep ‘em comin Peter
  4. Bill Unreal - simply tremendous sratchbuilding and the tutorial on casting is priceless. Inhaling every step of yhe builds and a bit ashamed of procrastinating on making progress on my little Boeing as I wait for resin parts to arrive: I should have grabbed the bull by the horns, followed your example and get going. Bill, on the seats, did you solder or use CCA? My favorite area of any build after painting is the front office and the three you created are brilliant. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  5. Looking forward to the camo work and markings. Being one of the frw persons on the modeling earth who hadn’t used masks yet, always intently intetsted on how it’s done. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  6. Jeroen Thumbs up on the canopy masking - so nicely done. A big thumbs up on the cockpit heating inlet tubes on the cowling - it’s those small details that add up in a bug way. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  7. Maru As we use to say back in the day: “Right back at You!” I once said, you are our Heart and Soul and it’s so much truer with every passing day. It’s time we changed your name: it’s now: “Sunshine” Peter
  8. Maru Best wishes on your Birthday, as you’re the best and a very special friend to us all. Enjoy your special day Peter
  9. Ernie Strange things do happen. I would send Hobbyworld an email just to be sure and if they did send you an early Christmas present or a wonderful gift from a friend, enjoy! MRP is my second weapon of choice: Mr Color is number one in my weaponry Peter
  10. Tony Glad you're onboard and joining in. I learned to fly in a J3 many moons ago and loved walking the rudder on landing in even gentle crosswinds. Welcome home. Peter
  11. Jeroen Right to the heart of the issue and thank goodness LSM always us to 'gentlemanly' discuss such a post. Speaking for myself, I left after nearly ten, very active years; my reasons were rather simple: I wasn't going to tolerate how my friends were being treated or spoken to and remain a member. Add in a gem of a PM I received form an admin, I couldn't walk away fast enough, slamming the door behind me. LSM has been like going back in time, when model building, building friendships and hanger flying was the focus of our attention. As that sank below the horizon, it became apparent, it was time to move on Peter
  12. Jeroen, well said All my friends know how many years I was a very active member of LSP - left for CAVU skies here on LSM and enjoy hanging out with my friends. I only have one question and it need not be answered: why would Kevin and Andy need to feel they have to set the record straight? In all reality: who cares what they think: this is LSM and not LSP. Peter
  13. Hi John Tube glue - use to love the stuff but it had to be the original Revell glue in the yellow and black tube. I have a tube of the Testors glue on my bench for years and just almost never use it. I do have to admit, when tube glue works well, you can't snap the pieces apart as you can with tamiya Extra Thin. But with good old government regulations the glues of our past, that worked beautifully are gone for good. Will be looking for your comments on the ZAP gel. Keep 'em comin Peter
  14. Thanks Cees Finally at the bench and slowly refining the lower wings as I’m waiting for hopefully all the AM to arrive this week Peter
  15. Ernie Couldn’t agree more and now that the party has began, it’s finally bench time again. Slow progress as I listened to Harv and ordered all the major AM around. The new resin engine is finally here and the cockpit set should be here this week. Decals and rib tape on order. I have been refining the lower wings and chomping at the bit. I’ll post an update by the end of the week as the my progress regardless of how little Peter
  16. Jeroen Looking great with the wings on Keep ‘em comin Peter

  18. CarL Good choice on the AM tracks; yikes, thevwork involvrd is insane but gorgeous. Keep ‘em comin Peter
  19. William Looking fantastic as the ‘Bird Dog’ comes together Keep ‘em comin Peter
  20. Incredible project and rolling along so nice. Just keeping track of which is which is a major test of organization and mental toughness! I followed Carl’s multiple Spitfire builds and was utterly amazed at th high level of work he did on each one, I could never even kept the line going. Keep ‘em comin Peter
