  7. I wasn't in the lobby that morning. William knocked on the door, didn't say much and left with a fair amount of dismay in his face. Later he told me that I answered in different language , perhaps German ?
  8. That's so cool, thank you for sharing and thank you for your service Rob Cheers Martin
  9. Welcome to the forum Dave, what an excellent choice, I will follow with interest. Now,,,, since you mention that runway in Maryland , where did I put my shovel ?
  10. somebody is acting SUS that would explain that ripped up toilet paper in the living room
  11. Amazing picture Peter , sorry to hear about Finn, it’s such a deep and heartbreaking moment when it comes. Selfless devotion and love being replaced by memories, leaving a void in your heart.

  13. Some components of the antenna wire installation, ( post/ insulator/ tensioner/ drop down to insulated post on the fuselage and back to the tail via, tensioner and insulator ) can be seeing here. NOTE: Hi-res pictures require a triple click in order to see them in full resolution.
  14. Old Monogram is still gem of a kit, basic yet presentable. I will definitely build one. Funny that you mentioned AC-47, because that would be the conversion I would go for. Columbians are still using them own the turboprop configuration, Total overkill, but why not .
  15. It all sounds like a major and unfortunate miscommunication mixed up with certain level of overreach . However. Let us not turn this thread into a pissing contest. LSP is a great platform and I respect that community a lot. We share common hobby, so please, let us focus on that.
  16. Catching up with this beauty. Mighty impressive work Kevin Cheers Martin
  17. That is Trumpeter 1/48scale C-47, it has many shortcomings , I believe it was based on Chinese copy of a Soviet Lisunov Li-2, which is a copy of Douglas DC-3/C-47. Overall buildable with some corrections and chunk of money invested into aftermarket as usually.
  18. time for some pretty picture
  19. I had to cut a window for navigator’s compartment after I glued shut ( as per instructions) the one provided in the kit. Well, live and learn. Just a quick coat is flat varnish to hide the uglies and this can all go together, somehow, hopefully
  20. Thank you Carl. I always like them. Time to fill the ejector pin marks and do some painting. And then there’s Clarence the camel.
