I wasn't in the lobby that morning. William knocked on the door, didn't say much and left with a fair amount of dismay in his face. Later he told me that I answered in different language , perhaps German ?

Old Monogram is still gem of a kit, basic yet presentable. I will definitely build one. Funny that you mentioned AC-47, because that would be the conversion I would go for. Columbians are still using them own the turboprop configuration, Total overkill, but why not . -
It all sounds like a major and unfortunate miscommunication mixed up with certain level of overreach . However. Let us not turn this thread into a pissing contest. LSP is a great platform and I respect that community a lot. We share common hobby, so please, let us focus on that.

That is Trumpeter 1/48scale C-47, it has many shortcomings , I believe it was based on Chinese copy of a Soviet Lisunov Li-2, which is a copy of Douglas DC-3/C-47. Overall buildable with some corrections and chunk of money invested into aftermarket as usually. -

I had to cut a window for navigator’s compartment after I glued shut ( as per instructions) the one provided in the kit. Well, live and learn. Just a quick coat is flat varnish to hide the uglies and this can all go together, somehow, hopefully -
