Catching up with your build Carl and everything looks pretty sharp. The paint bum-bum can be used to your advantage by recoating the affected areas with a fine layer leaving the imperfection in place as a pre-shading.

It looks like you found Barbie's lost SLR camera

If I may suggest to put Tamiya epoxy/resin putty into the gaps and rub it in there with a wet finger. It sends down smoothly and blends to resin perfectly.

Wow, I completely missed out. What a beauty, very clean finish. -
Thank You gentleman, you are all very kind. However this is 6 feet model, looks good from 6 feet and as soon as you cross this distance, you might notice all the booboos. It is on display at the local hobby store and apparently people like it. But , Canadians are way to polite , they will lie point blank to your face to make you feel better. Thanks again everyone Cheers Martin

Neat result Rob. Such an interesting subject as well. I quickly slapped together BTR -70 from Trumpeter. It’s a local hobby store sponsored group build where every participant gets a picture of the real thing and suppose get at close as desired. I got Ukrainian BTR captured by commies in a pixel camo. let the fun begin. -
Fully understood, sometimes things like that can kill the excitement completely. Well, time for another , more pleasant build, perhaps Corsair ?

Nice start Bill, any particular aeroplane you're aiming for ? , or just OOB camouflage. Cheers Martin
