  1. Already, this was fast. Smooth finish, I like it 👍
  2. No it doesn't , lifts off easily as I realized when lifting masking tape from the not primed surface of my MiG-29 You need to prime the surface.
  3. those two unidentified objects are probably canopy glass handles used only on the old style canopy . On the picture below it’s visible underneath the pilot’s nose.
  4. Autumn colours
  5. Thank you again gentleman.
  6. And here is the picture I was working with. I know the tactical number is not there yet.
  7. Really nice work Peter, despite the medical related hurdles you are soldiering on and the results are more than inspirational. Fantastic !
  8. Local hobby shop organized a mini buddy build, everyone got the same kit and a photo of the real thing was anonymously drawn. Based on that we were free to build it the way we want. I used resin wheels from Armory and bronze KPVT 14,7mm cast barrel from MiniWorld . Other then that I had to modified the light guards, add the search / IR light and a bunch of handles , hooks, intake mesh. Base was made out of cocoa powder can, covered with small printouts of the worlds 19 newspapers title pages, dated Thursday, February 24. Wooden pallets and the cat are 3D prints from Firma 49. It was fast and fun build, hopefully the final result is enjoyable to look at as well. Cheers Martin
  9. I see what you’re saying Hubert, frankly we like to build as it is in real life. Political correctness doesn’t apply here, those five guys although Canadians are of Scottish, British, Slovak, French and Russian descend . We build for fun and tease each other along the way. No hurt feelings just good times with our hobby. As soon as everyone’s finish , I’ll take a group photograph.
  10. Thank you gentlemen, it was fun build. I will post more pictures in the RFI section. I don’t take it as a competition, more of a buddy build. One of the guys involved is Mike Grant , so you can imagine his rendition:). yeah, I couldn’t choose the scheme, it was chosen by draw.
  11. Thank you guys. Everything is still wet , once the wash dries it should be ok.
  12. Ouch, sorry to hear that Scott, dental pain can be absolutely debilitating. Good luck with your surgery. Last week I fell while jogging and realized that ageing has nothing to do with wisdom, it is about choosing the right painkillers.
  13. Nice and clean work Paul, it's kinda cool that you can glue the tracks as a whole and paint it separately .
  14. Incredible detail Mike, just splendid, Bravo! Cheers Martin
  15. I love it, especially the weather fabric. Brilliant!
  16. Thanks Carl. Working on the base now.
  17. It’s a 1/72 scale Trumpeter BTR-80 with resin wheels and metal barrel there will be more mud and grime as it is going to be placed on a small vignette, consisting soviet “ the truth” magazine and a black cat 🐈‍⬛
