  1. Poppy is helping by not eating all of those one of a kind, hard to find fasteners and clips , that are so crunchy and fun.
  2. Time to wake up this turd from eternal hibernation. the plan is : -remove the battery relocation kit -instal a new battery tray and wiring - install 150A alternator - install the rear bench, seatbelts etc All if it in order to pass Alberta vehicle inspection
  3. I truly don't know if this was a very smart purchase. They are quite large, large indeed. Flanker was undoubtably a score, Tomcat?,,, I am not so sure about. Nevertheless both are ultra sexy airframes and we need some more jets here :).... said the guy who never finished a jet. LOL
  4. I’m Not much of a Trumpeter guy as you all know, but
  5. Thank you for the update Maru. Rest In Peace Dale.
  6. I would turn it into 1:1 scale diorama of the Berlin Wall , Boom !
  7. These are some fantastic news Mark, best of luck. Cheers M.
  8. Trumpeter makes a sets of workable tracks, no glue needed , they just click in. Quick and easy. Also the engine deck on Tamiya's T-55 is little bit out of proportions. I guess it is important to know what version (production subtype ) you going to build. single pin double, which requires a wider sprocket wheels as well, from T-72 etc. Cheers Martin
  9. Just in case a "decent" drawing, Edit: ,,with exception of the shape of the additional tail segment for F-20. It should be squared up on the short tail fuselage . Not streamlined . mediocracy is becoming a standard nowadays , let us blame it on Covid Edit 2: Exhaust stacks should be angled on Merlin LOL
  10. Gentleman , thank you so much for your support. There is so much more to change, but I would never finish. So the next stage is scribing, polishing and riveting.
  11. Nice detail of the inner flaps structure. I’m finally somewhat satisfied with the shape of the nose. of course I had to drop the propeller and broke the tip. Just a tip.
  12. ZM Ta-152 is not exactly Tamiya's shake & bake kits, nevertheless your Ta is very impressive Kai. like the base as well. Well done. Cheers Martin
  13. Testing montex masks and MIG acrylic paints. Paint with great results, masks not so much.
  14. It's the nature of the beast, I am going to lift the from a wee bit more, to level up and create more clearance .
  15. I’ve made an error and instead of 33 inch tires got 33,2 “ . Ever since I have been trimming the heck out of it. pinch weld was hammered flat , fender trims were trimmed:) Fuuuuu.....n
  16. There was something off about the look of the nose that I based on the set of drawings above. So I overlap it with a picture of an real aeroplane that was scaled up to the spinner diameter just to see the proportions and realized that the drownings are incorrect. The plug was too big. so back to the basics. I meant mitre saw LOL
  17. Angle grinder and sledge, you said? ,,,must be made by Trumpeter.
  18. Thank you Gus, not much progress tonight. Extension was added to the radiator. Contemplating the addition of the inner structure as well.
  19. Just catching up with this fantastic build. Very inspiring indeed. Cheers Martin
