Thank you Peter, my eyesight was declining for a while now, causing me lots of grief. I lost my confidence building especially to work with fine detail. My depth perception is quite distorted, it’s been like waging a war. Denial didn’t help, it’s time to take action.

Decent plastic. I know I know ZM is out with their uber kit, so why to bother with 1/48? Because when you open the box you’re not overtaken by horror caused by over-engineered plastic puzzle. Build thread should follow as soon as I get my eye surgery done.

Ha ha awesome! Don't forget to sand down the excessive detail on the rudder -
Thank you for the kind words Peter. This really is the most accurate kit of MiG-29 in any scale. I only altered the length of the main landing gear, dropped the slats and slightly reworked the intake channels. Other than that, it went together without too much trouble and as I said above if I didn't rush and followed the instructions :), you know the story . Next in line will be Su-27, again in 1/48 scale. This time in the "classic" blue /grey Soviet scheme, missiles and all.

I had the very same experience with Molotow pen. Big fail, minimal adhesion to the surface, inconsistent flow, simply disaster . -
