instrument bezels for Beaufighter arrived , and I just noticed that they are in 1/48 scale. Still ok, useful for something . Back to ordering 32nd scale this time. Oh well more time for the dolphin nose with brand spanking new sanding blocks and few sheets of save 220 and 180 grit sand paper.

Scale and stencils... what do you guys do?
Martinnfb replied to GazzaS's topic in Modelling Discussion
As Ivan said above, stencils are very markable and usually very well maintained on Soviet/Russian aircrafts. They are in deferent colours in order to distinguish between different systems, such as, air, oil, fuel and general warnings. Even fasteners have little tiny lines on them to show the "lock" position. -

Thanks Carl, I just run 4km , with only 3 minutes longer time then I should, so the leg seems to be fine, minus the colours

1/32 Fw-190 F8 Hasegawa
Martinnfb replied to Martinnfb's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
Thank You. When I build this, the Revell offering wasn't around and I sold Hasegawa F-8, simply because I didn't see the value to last in a re-box. -
I can't read my own handwriting either , sorry for being a goof, just trying to lighten it up . I believe handwriting is still part of the educational curriculum in Canadian schooling.

One of those dogs ( St,Bernard) that are treated like people run to me last night while jogging in the park and sprained my ankle. I know what you guys mean, I am just annoyed by dog-owners that don't have control over the animal. Now I'm limping like Quasimodo.

Looking good my friend. That's a massive piece of plastic. I moved Mi-17 build to the kitchen for the very same reason. Cheers M.

I wish that would be the case , however if you look at out educational system, we are basically raising generation of losers. The premise is" just try your best" and you will get the prize anyway. .... I've been volunteering at local elementary school, helping with kids, especially boys since they are short on male staff. The general attitude of the age group 6 to 8 is " I don't have to, what's the point of trying anyway ? "
