    I don't know if the extra work related to the addition of those brass blast tubes it really necessary ? Plastic pieces seems to provide the same look.

    It's not me it was my wonderful wife, she had it soldered in seconds, I did the easy part....quality control LOL ...was thinning the prop blades and scribing the spinners, cutting the back plates, more tomorrow

    Sterling silver in action Needless to say that the hub detail is molded off-centre , so that's why. There will be more work coming into the openings, but first I need to find some decent pics.

    As Hubert noted above, Lodela does not provide much of an improvement or corrects anything. The V-tail is wrong , canopies are mediocre at the best and the photo-etched parts are really very simplistic. Model Monkey cockpit set was brought to my attention by Carl on the previous page, however I do not want to build this kit into perfection with a use of aftermarket. I would like to see what can be done with a use of basic tools and techniques . I am having fun sanding , cutting and filing. Don't forget guys that I am just an assembler motivational pic.

    there are 4 known ways that RCAF used to convert the turrets into observation posts, or in some cases get a rid of them all together. Submarine style observer windows plexi insert Filled the gun openings with metal stripes Use the turret frame and sheet it over

    Than you Carl, Revell is the only game in town of course and there are many, many places that are in need of improvement . I am trying to address only the most apparent ones. For instance the fairing in front of the observer's canopy

    Nice work Hubert. Last time I went to Costco, I saw Silhouette Curio for approximately 200 CAD and that is very affordable price tag. Does it come with decent software as well , or do you have to buy it additionally . Cheers M.
