  1. Radiator intakes , louvers will be added once the saw dust saddle down I used etched metal from Trumpeter's P-39 that ended up where it rightfully belongs , garbage
  2. So I scratched the internals according the drawing above, later realizing that the foot release housing was sitting in the centre on a plate hat was partially covering the parachute hatch....Hmm I hit it with thick coat of paint so you can see the carnage
  3. Very fine work Carl , this amount of detailing will pay off at the end for sure. Cheers M.
  4. Reasonably simple Nige :), this area is a major focal point, everyone will try to peek in and go, wrrrrrrrrrrrm I am gona focus on the inner door mechanism and if somebody tells me that it was covered, well don't WRRRRRM ! eeeeeeeee, TA, TA, TA ! My shrink said it's OK.
  5. So, this our conversation. Is ceramic coating worth the money? It can be, if properly done by a certified shop and good quality coating, then yes. I'd recommend IGL I did process when I tried cutting through ceramic coating on different panels with 4/5 types of ceramic coating. IGL was the toughest and most robust. Would you put it on your car? Being that mine is white and I really enjoy detailing?, No. I would rather spend money on modifications. If it was any another colour and I had the funds for it, Yes.

  17. Thank You for stopping by Hubert, Yes I am trying to utilize my spare time this week, the pace will slow down as we get to more intricate detail assembly. Hi Phill, thank you for the compliments. I actually started last week and open this topic yesterday. The only new tooling that popped out recently were 1/48 scale Revell and 1/72 scale Airfix. There were also many rumours surrounding upcoming Beaufighter release created by me , therefore unreliable
  18. Oil radiators intakes in the leading edge are quite prominent feature, so let's give them some attention as well
