  1. Yea, but I’ve already done that one.
  2. Man, that’s looking great. When I weathered mine I screwed the pooch when I shot on the final flat clear. When it dried it looked like I had sprinkled talc all over it. I had to start all over again. Lesson learned that day! One coat of flat clear at a time and let it dry!
  3. 🤔 hmm… It is a twin engine.
  4. Hubert, I picked that book up as well. Dana did an amazing job on it. I got my copy directly from him.
  5. Ok, odd scale. Too big for 1/48, smaller than 1/32 but the pilot is probably 1/8 scale. So I’ll stick it here with the big models. Just a fun build I jumped on to release stress from painting the Blue Angels Phantom. Honestly, it kept the big F-4 off the SOD. Notice I’m giving the glamour shots on a dirty bench? Yea, cleanup is after the Phantom- coming soon!
  6. I knew you could do it! Looks great.
  7. Wow! That was fast. I’ll join in just for fun if I can get this TWIN ENGINE F-4J PHANTOM done asap. I think it’s a little further along than 25% though.
  8. Aerocraft Models in England. Ali is active on LSP. He puts out some really nice stuff.
  9. You wish you were!
  10. Just got a nice delivery. 3 bottles of leveling thinner from the USA Gundam store and an order from Ali at Aerocraft Models. 2- Stearman brass wing strut sets, an A-20 front nose gear and a gratuitous Revell Phantom brass gear set. Wait until you see tomorrow’s delivery. 😁
  11. Well if the kids next door are picking winners, this time I’m building the F-18 Maverick flew in Top Gun II. 😁 JK, hopefully a J/K
  12. Trim the clear film, place over stencils to hold them in correct position when removing from backing paper and apply to model. Carefully peel off transfer film leaving stencil in place.
  13. Wait! The J/K hasn’t been released yet! Of course I do have those two B-25 kits in the stash.
  14. I have found this a very rewarding way to end a build as well. It’s like getting a fresh start again. I started the habit with my new bench at the new home and wouldn’t change a thing!
  15. Sweet setup! Now get busy making it a mess!
  16. Small shelf and over a doorway!
  17. Ah yes. Lighter fluid, matches, fire crackers and BB guns. Many old models met their demise at the hands of a maniacal child.
  18. Funny you say that…She’s got a 4 day trip scheduled with our daughter for a skiing trip in Feb.
  19. Beautiful build! I have the kit to build as a Blue Angels.
  20. Cool Martin! Send me a list of what’s in your stash and I’ll start picking out what I want.
  21. As well as Carl gifting me with a very nice Fisher wing for my Hobby Crap Sea Fury. Also had a Fisher Sea Fury prop donated from a modeler on LSP. Modelers as a whole are a great group of folks.
  22. Someone say nap?
  23. In my opinion, I think she always needed a few “aftermarket” bolt on items. 🤪
  24. One of his small builds cannot remember if he built all these. But middle one is the one above.
  25. Funny you say that because he didn’t paint this car, but he is a wizard with a rattle can! I kid you not, he orders 2k clear in a rattle can that requires breaking an internal bulb to catalyze it. About the only reason he hasn’t ventured into the painting is because they don’t have a paint booth. In the video he mentions one being delivered. It’s a small 10’ X 10’ inflatable with filters so he can do his rattle can work in Bob’s fancy garage. His home is about a $3 Million mansion in an exclusive gated community. The front of the garage looks like just part of the house and you enter from the back yard. Driveway wraps around the house. I just got him into airbrushing back in the fall. He builds 1/10 RC rock crawlers as his hobby and he was trying to rattle can everything. Hooked him up with a Grex with the fan attachment like I use for larger projects.
